About
WELL-E works to position animal welfare and technologies as a catalyst for human and animal well-being and agricultural sustainability. This first-of-its-kind research chair in animal welfare and artificial intelligence brings together 3 universities (McGill, UQAM, and Guelph) and 5 industry partners (Novalait, Dairy Farmers of Canada, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, les Producteurs de lait du Quebec) spanning across both Quebec and Ontario. It carries out cutting-edge innovations from computer sciences to improve the welfare and longevity of dairy cattle in Canada.
