Founded in 1973, the Trimex/Filatex group works mainly in the personal care and para-pharmacy industries. Trimex holds the reputation as the dominant marketer, distributor and manager for the domestic, export and duty free markets for prestige cosmetics, fragrances, beauty products and fashion accessories.

With its Head Office in Sydney and fully structured offices and direct representation in each Australian state, the Trimex network spans the South Pacific region encompassing Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and various Pacific Islands.

As an importer, distributor and regional representative, Trimex employs over 600 staff nationally in marketing, administration, logistics, production, training and sales. Included in the above is a national team of consultants that covers the department stores, specialised outlets and duty free structures. This team of professionals help to drive its partner brands and businesses.

In addition, the investment of Clarins to form a joint venture with the Trimex group has added the weight of a multi-national leader to the partnership.

Trimex represents many multi-national group portfolios on a long-term basis including Clarins, Puig Group and Euroitalia. Trimex has also represented groups such as J&J and P&G for long term periods.
