Sydney's one-of-a-kind entertainment venue, The Star Sydney, was officially reopened on 15 September 2011. The $870-million transformation of Star City included the reorientation of the building to embrace Sydney Harbour and the city skyline.

The Star boasts more than 20 restaurants, bars and cafes, a Forbes Five Star rated luxury boutique hotel, The Darling, award-winning The Darling Spa, recently renovated Astral Tower and Residences, luxury retail collection and multi-award winning Event Centre. An all-star line-up of chefs, have set up signature restaurants at The Star, while a deluxe cocktail lounge, Cherry; live music venue, Rock Lily; and 24/7 Sports Bar provides a wide range of nightlife options.
