Baker & Provan specialises in heavy machining, fabrication and support services. Our primary sectors are Defence, rail, mining and general heavy industry.
Baker & Provan was established in St Marys, western Sydney in 1946 by returned servicemen, Arthur Baker and Don Provan and remains a 100% privately owned Australian company.
Baker & Provan continues to support ex-service men and women through our partnership with Soldier On.
Baker & Provan now has operations in Cooma, NSW to support the hydro and other local industry and also in Henderson, WA to provide Naval sustainment services.
Baker & Provan's quality is demonstrated by being a NATA accredited organisation, a Defence Recognised Supplier and an ISO 9000 registered company since 1999. The company is also accredited to ISO 45001 for OHS.
Baker & Provan has a strong commitment to staff development including through our apprenticeship scheme with currently 6 young people learning their trade.
