Scamont and Karlsons Mining Solutions Ltd (SKMS) with headquarters in Kitwe (Zambia), is a Joint Venture between Scamont Engineering (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) an Original Equipment Manufacturer and Karlsons Ltd (Zambia) an Engineering and Project Management Company.

Scamont Engineering has evolved over the past four decades to become an engineering powerhouse (OEM), servicing the global mining industry with its Slurry Positive Displacement (PD) pumps, Multistage Clear water pumps, and Pneumatic Rock drill product range; with the desire to bring the latest innovations to as many open pit and underground mines as possible in order to better tackle challenges facing the industry on a daily basis.

Karlsons has a heritage in the Feasibility studies, Design and Draughting, Technology Enabling, Process Improvement, General Engineering (Civil/Mechanical), Plant Installations and Mining in various sectors that dates back to the early nineties with a global team that has extensive knowledge and experience across many plant-commissioning and piloting in the mining and processing industries.

Together as a JV, SKMS provides robust, cost effective, high quality turnkey solutions to our clients in the fields of Dewatering / Slurry Handling and Mine Development/Production Drilling solutions. Further, SKMS is a distributor to various internationally renowned brands in the areas of High Wall Pumps, Submersible pumps, Vertical Spindle Pumps, Motors and Valves.
