Continental Global Material Handling has always played a key role within the bulk materials handling industry as a trusted partner and a supplier of conveyor components for some of the region's largest projects.
The CGMH idler and Pulley product line originated within the Australian conveyor engineering business, which quickly established itself as the premium manufacturer of engineered conveyor components and systems in 1986. The Somersby (NSW) manufacturing site has been developed over time to include all specialized welding, plate rolling, shaft and shell machining, lagging, automated robotics and painting systems required to build the highest quality idler and pulley products.
Since the establishment of the Somersby manufacturing facility it has produced over 14,000 pulleys and over 5,000,000 idler rollers for mining, construction and port applications in the Australasian region
