About

Global Media Foundation (GLOMEF) is a not-for-profit organisation which specializes in using right-based; social and behaviour change communication; and evidence-based research approaches to facilitate inclusive development programmes targeting youth, women, children and other vulnerable groups in the society. Our work involves building the advocacy and communicative capacities of our target groups, strengthening the capacity of the media, creating platforms for citizens engagement and gathering of evidence to engage policy makers and implementers. We believe if youth, women, children and other vulnerable groups have the capacity to communicate effectively, the ability to mobilise themselves and have the support of the media, they can improve their participation in the development process, advocate for their rights, demand improved social services from duty-bearers and secure better living conditions for themselves. In line with this, we are looking for proactive, self-motivated, experienced and multitasking professionals who share in our vision to join our committed team to implement projects to achieve our goal.

We act as a bridge between the right holders and duty bearers/power holders and apply state of the art communication strategies to address social issues in a cost-effective, efficient and sustainable manner.
