The retail sector is the engine that drives the economy .It has played a critical role in sustaining industry and has a symbiotic relationship with its stakeholders, eg the Consumer, Industry and Government .The birth of CZR will ensure better recognition of the Retailer and more accountable business conduct.

CZR VISION
To become the largest and most relevant retail lobby group in Zimbabwe both by numbers and voice. To strengthen the value chain and ensure world class service provision by the retail sector to consumers. The drive to promote local procurement and consumption of quality goods and services is key in our endeavor to grow the economy. Formal and informal retail sector to become one of the top five major contributors to GDP by 2020.

The CZR strives to promote effective and efficient actionable internal and external environmental policy at member level. Members have a duty to protect the environment they operate in.
