Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP) "Commonwealth" is the regional economic development organization representing Six (6) Coastal Counties; Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Tana River, Lamu and Taita Taveta. The Jumuiya Economic Bloc is mandated with regional coordination of cooperation, policy, Harmonization, promotion and investment facilitation of the regional assets. The JKP Mission is to be a Regional Economic Bloc that creates wealth & shared prosperity for its communities with a core mission of Catalyze economic growth of Kenya's coast regional counties.
The JKP vision is aimed at changing the story of the Coast region by transforming the region into a high middle-income regional population with a special focus on the youth and women through employment and wealth creation.
