The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating, and representing psychiatrists in Australia and New Zealand. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who undertake additional training to qualify as specialists in the treatment of mental illness.

The RANZCP has branches in every Australian state and territory, a head office in Melbourne, as well as a national office in Wellington, New Zealand.

Our vision is to achieve excellence and equity in the provision of mental healthcare. Our purpose is to support our members, advance psychiatry, and advocate for the best mental health outcomes for our communities.
