BRIEF HISTORY OF ATBUTH BAUCHI

THE ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL BAUCHI (ATBUTH BAUCHI)
was established in 1917 as a small clinic, cases were Managed by the Colonial Administration.
the cases were mostly leprosy. It became General Hospital in 1966.
in addition, was upgraded to Specialist Hospital in 1978.
In 2010 it was taken up by the Federal Government and became Teaching Hospital.

We provide tertiary healthcare and health referral services in full capacity according to both national and international standard

ATBUTH is rendering training to a variety of specialities (Medical, Paramedics, etc) and at different levels (Medical Student, Residency, Internship, etc)
