ID-LAB is a global network of human-centred experts that shape people's experiences in the built environment.

With an approach rooted in real-world experience mixed with a strong foundation in Design Thinking, Environmental Psychology, and Service Design, our teams in Australia, The Netherlands and France work on health, infrastructure, transport, commercial, urban, civic and cultural projects to shape beautifully functional spaces that elevate the user experience.

We blend strategic design approaches like Wayfinding, Universal Design and User Experience Design, to craft impactful and pragmatic strategies: our Wayfinding Strategists collaborate with Accessibility experts, ensuring easy navigation for all abilities. Our User Experience Designers work alongside Environmental Psychologists to align spaces with the natural tendencies and preferences of its users, promoting safety, engagement, and functionality.

And before any of this goes live, our Evaluation & Testing team can scrutinise your (virtual) environment to ensure its effectiveness and functionality.
