We envision a society where women and girls are socio-economically empowered to enable communities for sustainable development

Women for Women Rwanda (WfW-Rwanda) is a national organization that seeks to support women and girls in Rwanda to break the vicious circle of poverty and social exclusion by enabling them to become socially and economically capable to lead themselves and their community to better health, education, and social conditions.

WfWR recently transitioned from Women for Women International which has been operating in Rwanda since 1997. WfW-Rwanda builds alliances with communities and institutions to help design and deliver innovative programs that address inevitable challenges faced by women within our communities.

Women for Women Rwanda (WfW-Rwanda) is an affiliate non-for-profit organization of Women for Women International (WfW-International) Throughout its history, nearly 79,000 women have been reached through the Stronger Women, Stronger Nations program in Rwanda.
