In Nigeria and Africa in general, women have been denied the opportunity of achieving their full potential through marginalization in all facets of the economy, inequality in political appointments and as well as intimidation and bullying from their men folks. While some men see women as second class citizens that should depend and take orders from them, others see them as sex tools. In some other cases the traditional and cultural beliefs in the society has made some people reasons that empowering a woman is an abomination as a wife should not be richer than her husband. As a result of this bias, some men don't want their wives to work or even be empowered, while others do it out of insecurity.

In view of the above, Chybee Entrepreneurship Foundation for women is the organization set up to empower 1 million women and girls across Africa through The Chybee Creativity Empowerment Programme.

We hope to achieve this by:

Supporting them with grants to promote their businesses
Carrying out sensitization workshop on how to become financially independent and contribute to the growth of the economy
Training them on how to have a winning mentality thus achieving their full potentials.
Identifying those with special skills training them in their field to become great entrepreneurs.
