In Uganda, 10 million rural citizens live in a healthcare 'black hole', with no quality primary care facilities within a 5 km radius. When people get sick they either wait and hope they get better or spend a crippling amount of money to reach a distant health facility.
At One Day Health we set up lean healthcare centers equipped with exceptionally trained nurses and a suite of diagnostic devices and drugs to treat 90% of the local disease burden that offers affordable, high-quality care to remote, vulnerable populations in Northern Uganda.
