About
Adolescents in Eswatini who engage in sex with older men (also known as "blessers") are 5x more likely to be infected with HIV and to fall pregnant. Govuka is a non-profit organisation that provides targeted, relatable life skills resources to educate adolescent girls who are unaware of the risks associated with intergenerational relationships.
Govuka's immediate aim is to reach 20 000 girls between ages 11-19 in the Kingdom of Eswatini by 2026. One of our key strategies for achieving this goal is through a peer-driven curriculum.
