Safari is our Swahili word for journey and that's what One Horizon holidays are – incredible journeys that take you beyond Kenya's world-famous wildlife parks to communities that visitors rarely have a chance to connect with.

Our people safaris venture off the beaten tourist track to the very heart of Kenya as we visit Masai villages, farmlands, schools and children's rescue centres. We're warmly welcomed wherever we journey because our One Horizon programs are changing the lives of Kenyan women, children and families who call these communities home.

You'll see how our unique approach to sustainable tourism is solving poverty and play your own role in forging change as we invite you to take a ‘hands-on' role in our programs – it may be helping us prepare a nutritious meal for hungry children, making jewellery with Masai women or buying a piglet that will help a struggling Kenyan grandma start her own farming business and end her family's generational cycle of poverty.

Some of our holiday itineraries combine our people safaris with wildlife adventures to renowned sanctuaries such as Amboseli, Laikipia, Lake Naivasha, Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, the Rift Valley and the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
