About
Cancer is the third killer in Libya after cardiac diseases and accidents. Almost a third of the Libyan population (6M) live in Tripoli. A decree of establishing a cancer center was signed in May 2017, it is the first cancer center in Tripoli.
We addressed the main problems of cancer care in Tripoli and decided to work to overcome them in our center.
For that we decided to focus on issues related to: Ensuring quality of service, training, investing in IT, ensuring sustained drug availability and aiming to get international accreditation.
We welcome support in helping plan this new project and make it stand as a recognised center with international standards.
