Rodstreet Trading (Pvt) Ltd t/a CityMarket Wholesalers (CMW) commenced trading on 1 October 2010. The company's focus is to trade in basic commodities, supplying the smaller retailers and out of town general dealers. The products are sold mainly in bulk and at competitive low prices. The business model is strictly cash and carry with no credit terms offered to our customers. The main driver for the turnover is stock availability in the chosen product lines and management is in a constant bid with manufacturers and distributors to supply goods at the best prices and to attain the status of supplier of choice and ultimate convenience.

• Brown sugar
• Green bar soap
• Cooking oil
• Self-raising flour
• Eggs
• Rice
• Dried kapenta
• Salt
• Corn-based snacks
• Mazoe orange crush
• Carbonated soft drinks
• Coffee creamer

In order to maintain desired stock levels management have negotiated supplier credit varying from 7 days, 14 days and 21 days depending on the stock turnover ratio of the different product lines. However to enhance the supplier credit the business requires an injection of working capital to compliment the model and ensure that the business does not suffer "stock outs"
