Profile of the Firm
The Human Capital Institute Sierra Leone (HCI-SL) is a profit making, non-voluntary social business committed to providing a platform for the inspiration and empowerment of young people and women, both experienced and non-experienced professionals and entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone and the sub-region. We promote opportunities to support, connect and grow them and their businesses, through training, learning, coaching, mentoring, networking and developing strategic partnerships & alliances with key like minds institutions & organizations based in Sierra Leone and across the globe.
Through our services, we aim to reduce the unemployment rate among young people including women as vulnerable group firstly in Sierra Leone and then at sub-regional level, to equip women & young people, including; fresh graduates and young professionals with skills that are in demand on the labor market and to form a well-prepared community of professionals who would know where and how to look for jobs and get employed and mentor others at their turn.
HCI-SL will also act as a lobbying group on human capital management and development, employment disparities, labor laws and their effectiveness, employers'/employees well-being and the local content policies related to business operations in Sierra Leone, the sub-region and highlighting barriers to succeed and opportunities available in these countries for young people and women as well as the challenges faced by employers/employees, young professionals and entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone and the sub-region.
