About

Situated in the beautiful Bitou Valley on the banks of the river alongside Plettenberg Bay, our school is a co-educational, fully integrated, dual-medium school with a proud history of 161 years. During these years, the staff and parents have consistently prided themselves on the excellent education provided to all children entrusted to their care, whatever the circumstances.

Being a small school, in terms of learner numbers, has endowed us with the opportunity to offer each one of our learners the benefit of being recognised and regarded as a unique individual – not only as a number or face in a multitude.

Although we are extremely gratified by our academic achievements, it needs to be stressed that our focus is the provision of holistic education. Sport, cultural and social development are equally important – together with a well-developed, modern leadership programme.

A range of extramural activities is offered – and each child is both encouraged and empowered to participate as actively as possible.
