About
The Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) a statutory body established through an Act of Parliament, the Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 14:44). The Commission, will among other functions, be responsible for "protecting consumers from unconscionable, unreasonable, unjust or otherwise improper trade practices; as well as deceptive, misleading, unfair or fraudulent conduct", provide for the regulation of Consumer Advocacy Organisations; to provide for alternative dispute resolution.
