We are a National Human Rights Organisation with our secretariat based in Nairobi Kenya.

Economic and Social Rights Centre (Hakijamii) is human rights organization
that empowers marginalized communities nationally to claim and realize their
economic, social and cultural rights and live in dignity through Human
Rights Based Approaches.

Our work is anchored on Article 43 of the Constitution of Kenya and we champion policies to advance the interests and economic and social cultural rights of the Kenyan people especially marginalized communities and ASAL areas; with a vision of creating a society that guarantees the protection, promotion and fulfillment of all human rights.
