SAREA was established in 2008 to support the business efforts of real estate agents, through the provision of quality, industry-relevant education and training services. The company is accredited by the regulatory authority to offer the prerequisite qualifications for registration/licensing as a real estate agent in South Africa. SAREA is also accredited to issue exemption certificates where an applicant holds an equivalent or higher qualification that is relevant to the prerequisite qualification.

The company also offers short courses in areas such as property law, ethics, sales, negotiation and motivation skills. These excellent training interventions may be presented on a public or corporate basis.

SAREA offers training management services to larger real estate companies, allowing them to offer a virtual training academy to their agents without incurring the fixed costs associated with employing trainers and administrators.
