As an industrial contractor with extensive experience across Western Canada, FMI specializes in the construction of Generation, Transmission and Distribution projects for electric utility providers. FMI strives to be the contractor of choice, and over the last three decades, has worked on over 200 substations. FMI has bonding capabilities of $100MM for a single project and $200MM aggregate. From the initial phases of a project, to it's mechanical completion, our guiding principles of Safety, Performance, Innovation and Integrity are apparent in everything we do.

Using our extensive industry experience and our vast knowledge of electrical and civil systems, cost history, labour, and general construction, FMI provides a service that our clients can rely on as the best combination of quality results and innovation. The nature of our work demands jobsite safety at its highest level. Thorough training in the technical aspects of safety management and leadership is a requirement for all of our employees including project managers, site supervisors and foremen.
