Alexco is the owner and operator of the historic Keno Hill Silver District in Canada's Yukon Territory, one of the highest-grade silver deposits in the world. Alexco is currently advancing Keno Hill to commercial production and started silver-rich concentrate production and shipments in Q1 2021.

In 2010, Alexco built the Bellekeno mine and operated it from 2010 until 2013, when it decided to put it on care and maintenance due to low silver prices.

In 2020, following years of exploration success and after receiving the final regulatory permits, Alexco restart production at its 100%-owned Keno Hill Silver District, Canada's only primary silver mine.
