About

Vastaamme opiskelijoiden ja työelämän osaamistarpeisiin Pohjois-Suomessa järjestämällä työelämäläheisiä koulutuspalveluja tulevaisuuden haasteita ennakoiden.

OSAO kuuluu Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAOn konserniin. OSAOn omistajakunnat ovat Hailuoto, Ii, Kempele, Liminka, Lumijoki, Muhos, Oulu ja Tyrnävä. Pudasjärvellä ja Taivalkoskella OSAO järjestää koulutusta sopimusperusteisesti.

Päätoimisien opiskelijoiden kokonaismäärä on noin 8 500. Henkilöstöä on yli 850. Kokonaistulot ovat vuodessa noin 93 miljoonaa euroa.

OSAOta johtaa yhtymähallituksen alaisuudessa kuntayhtymän johtaja, filosofian tohtori Jarmo Paloniemi.

We offer all sectors of education and the whole life span of vocational education – to all age groups. We develop and provide educational services together with work life.

Finnish educational export is growing rapidly and we want to be part of the success story. We arrange education services and visits together with our wide network to all who are interested in Finnish vocational education. We train in the Oulu area and in the customer's home country.
