Humanity Financial Management Inc. builds the financial capacity and credibility of Canada's nonprofit, charitable and social enterprises. We work with staff, volunteers, board members, funders and other to ensure that financial management systems and practices meet stakeholder needs - both now and in the future.

What exactly is "financial management"​? It includes operational systems - internal controls, cash flow, payroll, budgeting, tax, audits, reporting, policy development, and related activities. It also includes the people responsible for the systems- executive leaders, directors, financial staff, bookkeepers, funding partners and contractors.

When we work with clients, we start with the people. We begin learning about the history of your organization and by clarifying objectives. Some clients want to improve individual financial management skills. Others need to reexamine financial roles and responsibilities or recruit cost-effective assistance for special projects or short-term contracts.
