About
The Medical University of Lodz is one of the largest medical universities in Poland. Its tradition goes back to the 1940s. Currently 9,000 students study in five faculties and 15 fields of study. The University also conducts studies in the English language and over 750 foreign students take part in medical and dentistry programmes, as well as doctoral studies. Its clinical facilities include three hospitals that score top positions in national rankings.
The Medical University of Lodz substantially contributes to the academic life of the city and country. The University educates future doctors and specialists in medical sciences and medicine-related fields. It carries out scientific research, developmental work and renders research services.
