Bipha Drug Laboratories is an I.S.O / G.M.P certified manufacturer of Ayurvedic medicines and supplements, personal care / spa products ,health foods and aromatherapy products .

The company was founded in 1929 by a gifted Ayurvedic physician - Pappy Vaidyar. Bipha is the pioneer in the manufacture of Kashaya ( bitter liquid extracts) into easily palatable tablet formulations- a technology developed in 1971 , after years of pain staking research .

Today , Bipha is one of the leading manufacturers of patent and proprietary formulations in Kerala and has a bouquet of over 241 licensed formulations ,probably one of the largest patent formulation portfolio . Bipha has a strong portfolio of products for lifestyle diseases which is supplemented by classical patent products , kashaya tablets , single herbs and herbal supplements .

Bipha Drug Laboratories , has 2 G.M.P certified manufacturing plants in Kerala manufacturing formulations compliant to International norms for heavy metal and microbial parameters. Bipha has conducted about 15 clinical studies and is in the active process of documenting the clinical outcomes of all the products manufactured .

The company recently forayed into organized retailing , wellness clinics and hospitals .Bipha operates Ayurvedic boutique stores in leading international airports and shopping malls . The company has entered into Ayurvedic hospitals with the launch of Bipha life Hospital& Research center - a100 bedded hospital at Kottayam
