The company was incorporated in 1977as Singhagiri Ltd,by late Mr. SugathadasaMarasinghe,founder & chairman of Singhagiri Private Limited. First Introduced SAMSUNG to SriLanka in 1983, and was appointed as an authorized agent for "Samsung"​ brand in the range of electronic& electrical products, representingm/s Samsung Electronics of South Korea. Today Samsung South Korea brand is sought after by many consumers, due to its innovative and sophisticated products, and we are happy to be Strong Business Partners of Samsung since then. Ever since the company never looked back and happy to be a long standing business partner of Samsung and continue to serve the loyal customers with innovative Samsung products.SinghagiriPriavte Limited also import other brands of international repute.

The distribution channel of Samsung products are carried out by the company owned branches, Duty Free shop at the arrival lounge B.I.A.Katunayake, dealer channel & project sales. Main flagship store is situated at Samsung Plaza,T.B.JayaMawatha Colombo10. Main service center is also situated adjacent to the flagship store, and is well equipped with overseas trained engineers and technicians with state of the art equipment to carry out repairs and service. With five Directors of Singhagiri and with strong Management expect an unstoppable journey to become giants in Electronic Business.
