Lexpert is Canada's leading source of news and information about the best lawyers, law firms and the business of law.

Since 1994, Lexpert has conducted annual peer surveys to identify the best lawyers and law firms in Canada. Being ranked by Lexpert is an acknowledgment of an individual's status as a leader in their respective field.

Lexpert rankings are compiled from a comprehensive annual survey and extensive research process in which lawyers recommended by their law firm leaders are confidentially rated by their peers. Each year over 13,000 lawyers complete the survey. Any lawyer ranked one year must maintain their status in subsequent surveys to retain their ranking.

Lexpert also produces several themed Special Editions each year featuring firm-and journalist-written articles and information on leading Lexpert -ranked lawyers in specific practice areas or industries. The Lexpert newswire offers the legal profession a detailed look at trends and the most recent deals and cases that law firms and lawyers are acting on and other news in the area of focus for each Special Edition.
