Astana IT University is the leading center of competencies for digital transformation in Central Asia, the aim of which is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of digital economy based on interdisciplinary technologies and ensure digital transformation through training, research and successful innovation. Founded as a result of the initiative of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev in 2019.

The University employs the best foreign and domestic teachers according to the author's methods. Training is three-year, in English. All programs were created with a focus on practice and according to the requirements of the labor market. Students will be able to study cryptography, digital forensics, Big Data, robotics, artificial intelligence, programming and other disciplines.
