The Institute was founded in 2007 and in a short span of eight years it has scaled great heights both in the academics and co-curricular activities and carved out a niche for itself among the renowned technical institutions. Echelon Institute is the first Institute in Haryana which has been accorded Outcome based Accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) as per Washington Accord & ABET norms

The Institution is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana, and is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The medium of instruction in this institute is English.
