The name Chemtex depicts Chemical Technology Experts.

The early 1970s saw the foundation of Chemtex. And in the following decades, it expanded with its variety of indigenous chemicals and industries catered. Chemtex today remains a family owned company with Shri Ram Gopal Karnani as its Chairman and his sons serving as the board of directors.

Over the past 50 years, Chemtex has come a long way in contributing to the speciality chemicals requirements of the Asian sub-continent.
