Makami Engineering is an established in Northern Ontario with a distinct client base within the Mining, Railroad, Forestry, Steel Production and Commercial industries.

Our Professional Engineering Services include: Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering and Inspections, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 3D Laser Scanning, Commercial Drone & Laser Tracker.

Our vision is to be an industry leader in providing highly technical and specialty engineering services to our clients. We strive to achieve this by utilizing experienced personnel with extensive knowledge from both a design and end-user perspective. Combined with this experience, we utilize cutting edge technology and computer analysis programs to ensure we provide accurate, comprehensive and cost effective designs for our clients.

With both local and international clients, we service heavy industrial and commercial markets at every stage, from initial concept and project feasibility to detailed design, construction review and commissioning.

Much of the experience base at Makami Engineering Group has been performing maintenance engineering services on specialty structures and equipment. We provide quick response and accurate, comprehensive engineering so that plants and equipment are back up and running.

Utilizing the industry leading Leica Scan Station P50, we have the unique ability to perform 3D laser scanning of existing building infrastructure and equipment integrating this data directly into our design 3D models. This technology gives us the ability to produce highly "field accurate" designs accommodating actual field conditions and dimensions.

With the recent acquisition of a Leica Absolute Tracker AT402, we have the ability to take precision measurements. The AT402 is Leica's most accurate measuring solution at this point in time and it complements our work flow of taking high accuracy measurements over long ranges and setting up control points in plants.
