About

Founded in 2012, Merrick Preparatory School is an international boarding school located in Merrickville, Ontario on the shores of the Rideau River and Canal System, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Only 50 minutes from the nation's capital, Ottawa, our students have access to all of the national capital resources. Since our founding we have maintained a 100% university acceptance rate, with over 86% of our graduates gaining entry to their first choice university.

With our small class sizes (averaging 10 students per class) and our high skilled staff (all teachers are trained English as a Second Language Specialists) we ensure top performance of our students. We offer 140-145 hours of instruction per course compared to the industry standard of 110. Our dorm rooms are large and luxurious and our small family feel creates a safe, secure and focused environment for learning. Our graduates gain entry into top-tier universities in North America and the UK with large scholarships.
