About
People's Trust Council, an agency of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development was established on March 1, 1966 under the Act of Parliament as a statutory body as a result of the resolution of the first Bumiputera Economic Congress on 1965.
It is the duty of the Council to promote, encourage and facilitate economic and social development in the federal and especially in rural areas.
