THE GROUP
Vila Galé is one of the largest hotel groups in Portugal and ranks in the top 120 hotel companies in the world. Founded in 1986, it is one of the top rated companies in Portugal, and its activities include the management of all the hotels in the group. The company is also involved in the development of other projects and in the construction of new tourism ventures.
The Vila Galé group is currently responsible for the management of 44 hotels: 31 in Portugal, 10 in Brazil, 1 in Cuba and 1 in Spain - with more than 24.000 beds.
The group currently employs around 3,200 people, and a great part of the group's success is due to the close links that exist between all the staff. They are a cohesive team with a strong passion for tourism and hospitality.
