About
Osisko Metals is developing two of Canada's premier past-producing brownfield assets – the Gaspé Copper Mine in Murdochville, Quebec, and the Pine Point Zinc Mine, located in the Northwest Territories.
To achieve the ambitious target of attaining net-zero emissions by 2050 and transitioning to a decarbonized energy supply, the prompt extraction of critical metals becomes imperative. Copper and Zinc are fundamental for the advancement of batteries, renewable energy, and sustainable technologies. With an impending shortage, expediting brown-field projects will ensure faster and more efficient project development.
Through its joint venture with Appian Natural Resources Fund III LP, Osisko Metals is advancing the Pine Point project, a renowned zinc mining camp in Canada and also holds a 100% interest in the Gaspé Copper Mine in Québec, one of the largest copper development assets in Eastern North America.
