As Rhode Island's one public television station, we are the stage for issues that are important to you and our community. As television, we amplify individual voices that might not otherwise be heard. As a non-profit, we bring a unique mission-driven perspective to everything we do.

Our place in the community is a unique one, as both a nonprofit organization and a television station. We use the power of noncommercial media to help build a stronger community by:

- producing and presenting local independent content about issues our viewers tell us are important to them,

- fostering community outreach and connection through civic engagement projects and public events.
