Die Forschungsgemeinschaft Werkzeuge und Werkstoffe e.V. (FGW) ist eine private, gemeinnützige Institution für die angewandte Forschung.
Mit angeschlossenen wirtschaftlichen Geschäftsbetrieben verstehen wir uns seit über 60 Jahren als Schnittstelle zwischen der universitären Forschung und dem anwendungsorientierten Bedarf der Werkzeug- und Haushaltswarenindustrie.
Die Zusammenarbeit mit namhaften Firmen und Institutionen im In- und Ausland, eine große Anzahl von Veröffentlichungen in Fachzeitschriften, regelmäßige Medienpräsenz sowie immer wieder die Berufung zu Fachgutachten stärken die Bedeutung der FGW als eine der kompetentesten Stellen im Bereich der Werkzeuge und Haushaltswaren.
