Philip Kingsley is the world's leading trichologist (hair and scalp specialist), with clinics in London and New York. His 55 years of trichological heritage and belief that 'healthy hair is beautiful hair'​ have secured him an international reputation for excellence. He was the first person to introduce the concept of ‘hair textures' into the industry, and also coined the term ‘bad hair day'. While the Philip Kingsley clinics have made personalised, hand-made hair care products since 1957, in 1998 Philip and his clinical team developed a retail line in order to make premium, scientifically based hair care easily available to the mass consumer.
