About

Erhvervsinvest is a Danish private equity firm specialised in acquiring majority stakes in small and medium-sized companies typically with revenues ranging from EUR 10 to 100 million. The focus is well-managed companies with a potential for further growth and companies that can drive industry consolidation. Erhvervsinvest does not have a specific industry focus, but a majority of the current portfolio companies are operating in the manufacturing or service industry.

Erhvervsinvest's overall goal is to generate attractive returns for its investors by creating growth and sustainable long term operational improvements in its portfolio companies. Our investors are pension funds, funds-of-funds, other financial institutions and family offices.

Erhvervsinvest has an industrial approach to value creation and takes an active role in portfolio companies by working closely together with the management and selecting senior business leaders from Erhvervsinvest's Industrial Network to the Board of Directors. Another cornerstone in Erhvervsinvest's investment model is securing alignment of interest, which is facilitated by having the management team and Board of Directors co-investing in the portfolio company alongside Erhvervsinvest.

Erhvervsinvest aims at creating growth and attractive returns in an ethically and socially responsible manner. Therefore, we include environmental, social and governance considerations in our decision making.

Since the foundation in 2004, we have made 39 direct investments and 30 add-on acquisitions. Erhvervsinvest has raised six funds with approx. EUR 685 million in total committed capital.
