Raumtäumer GmbH – originally founded as a spin-off from Bielefeld University – has been successfully operating as an independent company in the areas of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) since 2017. With a clear focus on the requirements of the industry, we develop innovative and practical solutions that support companies in optimizing their processes, transferring knowledge efficiently and establishing sustainable business models.

Our technologies are used particularly in industrial areas with complex products and sophisticated processes, for example in Industry 4.0, in service and in technical training. Raumtanzer offers tailor-made solutions that address the shortage of skilled workers, reduce travel times and efficiently retain expertise. Our applications are designed to make knowledge tangible and seamlessly integrate it into existing business processes.

A highlight of our portfolio is the ability to create high-performance 3D models from CAD data that can be presented in augmented reality, virtual reality or via a 3D web viewer. We pay attention to the security of sensitive data and enable companies to only provide the necessary level of detail for the respective application. Our proprietary 3D Secure Viewer also prevents model downloads and provides additional security.
