Founded by King Edward VI in 1550, Sherborne Boys is a leading independent full boarding and day school for boys. Sherborne Boys' unique and strong partnership with Sherborne Girls offers the best of both worlds: single-sex education with social, co-curricular and academic collaborations. Sherborne lies in the beautiful Dorset countryside with a direct train to and from London Waterloo.

Sherborne Boys has eight boarding Houses and opens a state-of-the-art new Sports Hall this year. Among its notable alumni are Hugh Bonneville, Jeremy Irons, Chris Martin, Alan Turing and Tom Bradby. ‘Sherborne Forever' is the message of its award-winning Old Shirburnian Society; once a boy joins the School, he forges friendships and is part of a network like no other.
