De Vorstin is the premier pop venue of the Media City, Hilversum. We are a home base for a dynamic pop culture where young and old, amateurs and professionals, and – as is typical in Hilversum – old and new media come together. We are an incubator for emerging talent and a stopover for established artists on tour. Above all, we are a welcoming home for music lovers.

We don't do this alone. Through collaboration, we create movement. In the neighborhood, the city, the region, and the country. We organize festivals, support talent, and draw audiences to the city center. From the heart of the city, we work towards a vibrant Hilversum, full of musical connections, surprises, and inspiration.

Hilversum kan als mediastad nog meer betekenis krijgen voor de inwoners en gevestigde organisaties als de Vorstin een veelzijdig en onderscheidend muzikaal programma aanbiedt en daarbij samenwerkt met andere organisaties met overlappende doelen.

Het muziekpodium dient als crossmediale muzikale broedplek voor opkomend talent en ervaren musici en wil een huis zijn voor een breed publiek aan muziekbelevers en makers in 't Gooi en Hilversum als mediastad in het bijzonder.
