As a high-tech manufacturer, mawa has been developing and producing lighting and luminaire solutions 'Made in Germany' on an industrial scale for the entire spectrum of architectural lighting for over 40 years.
Founded in 1977 by Martin Wallroth in Berlin, mawa initially developed luminaires and furniture. Later, the company focused on technically sophisticated lighting solutions, some of which were developed in collaboration with renowned designers. From homes and offices to shops, museums, monuments and religious buildings, mawa is the partner of international architects and lighting designers for high-quality architectural lighting.
