About

C.A.PICARD® was founded in 1876 by Carl Aug. Picard as a "grinding workshop", which has developed into a multinational group over the years and decades. We operate globally with nine locations and sell our products on a worldwide scale in the Plate Technology and Extruder Technology divisions.

Customers of these two business divisions come from diverse industries, including the packaging, foundry, electronics, plastics and chemical industries as well as the food and ceramics sectors.

In the business division Plate Technology, we manufacture and distribute worldwide, escecially press plates and carriers, die cutting plates and mould tooling, multilayer registration systems, equipment for the foundry industry as well as parts for calcium silicate brick presses.

In the business division Extruder Technology, especially parts and equipment for single-, twin- and multi-screw extrusion systems are developed and manufactured.

Our products are distributed to over 50 countries around the world, the main markets being Europe, Asia, America, and the Far East.
