Les Thermes de Vals-les-Bains ont été crée en 1857, ils sont très rapidement devenu la station du traitement du diabète.
C'est en 2019 que la station connait une réhabilitation totale avec la rénovation du plateau de cure et la création du Spa Séquoia Redwood à l'étage du bâtiment.
